The Cart Lodge is a converted barn out near Uggeshall in Suffolk. It's on a farm in about twenty acres of land. You'll see horses in the fields. There's a small lake too.
It sleeps four people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean inside.
The stairs are worth mentioning. They're a bit steep and narrow. Just something to be aware of.
You've got your own patio garden at the front. It's a good spot for a morning coffee. There's parking right beside the cottage.
Inside, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a BBQ and a place to store bikes.
The closest shop and pub are about a mile away in the village. It's a quiet area.
You're about three miles from the coast. Southwold is the main town there. It's got a beach, a pier, the lighthouse, and the Adnams brewery. You can walk across the footbridge to Walberswick from the harbour.
Other places within about half an hour's drive include Dunwich beach and heath, the RSPB reserve at Minsmere, and the market town of Beccles on the edge of The Broads. Norwich is a bit further, maybe forty-five minutes if you fancy a city day.
No pets, I'm afraid.
