The Coach House
The Coach House is in Carlton, Suffolk. It's a detached single-storey building next to our house, so you've got privacy but we're here if you need anything. It was a coach house originally, so the rooms are decent sized with high ceilings. It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, with underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. The patio is private and gets the sun in the evening. It's all on one level and the doorways are wide, so it's suitable if you have mobility issues.
There's a pub a quarter of a mile up the lane. They do food. The nearest shop is in Saxmundham, about two miles away.
It's very quiet here. We've got a two-acre woodland walk on the property you can use. For cycling or walking, the quiet lanes are good. Framlingham with its castle is about four miles. Saxmundham is two miles.
The coast is about a twenty-minute drive. Aldeburgh is ten miles. Southwold and Walberswick are a bit further, maybe thirty minutes. Snape Maltings is close, only five miles, for concerts and shops. The RSPB reserve at Minsmere is about fifteen minutes by car.
You can bring two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
