Honey Cottage is in Friston, Suffolk. It's one of three cottages at the end of a row, built a long time ago. The village is quiet, just fields and sky. You get the whole cottage and garden to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are normal cottage stairs, so they turn a corner and are a bit steep.
It's warm inside. There's a wood burner in the front room for cooler evenings. The kitchen and dining area are open plan at the back. You've got a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The local pub is about a five-minute walk. They do food. The nearest shop is a mile away in Aldringham.
You're well placed for the coast. Aldeburgh is about four miles. It's a proper seaside town with a shingle beach, fish and chip shops, and that big scallop shell sculpture on the beach. For walking, you're close to the Suffolk Coast and Heaths National Trust area. RSPB Minsmere is a short drive away if you like birdwatching.
Snape Maltings is about two miles. It's an old building by the river with shops, a concert hall, and places to eat. Southwold, with its pier and beach huts, is about a twenty-minute drive. Dunwich Heath and the ruins at Framlingham Castle are also within half an hour.
