Pebble Cottage
Pebble Cottage is in Aldeburgh. It's a little terraced house just off the high street. You can walk to the beach, the shops, and the pub in a couple of minutes. It sleeps two, plus one dog. There's a small second bedroom if you need it.
It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well done and comfortable. Not huge, but everything you need is there. There's an open fire for the winter and a BBQ outside for the summer. Wi-Fi, washing machine, dishwasher, all included.
A couple of things to know. The stairs are very steep. It's an old fisherman's cottage, so that's just how they are. The second bedroom is very small. And parking is on the street. You can usually find a space nearby, and there's a church car park for short stays if you get stuck.
Aldeburgh itself is busy in the summer, but nice year-round. You can buy fish straight off the beach from the huts. The high street has good places to eat. The Snape Maltings concert hall is about a ten minute drive inland, if you're interested in music.
For walks, the Suffolk Coast Path goes right through town. You can walk south to Thorpeness or north up the coast. The Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area website has good maps.
