Boundary Gallery Cottage is in Cransford in Suffolk. It's attached to our main house, but it's completely separate with its own entrance. The big draw for us is the view, you get a long view over the fields from the terrace. It's very quiet here.
It's all on one level with no steps, so we've had guests who use wheelboards or walking frames find it easy. There are two bedrooms and they both have their own bathrooms, which people seem to like. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area is open plan.
You get a little enclosed garden patio to yourselves. Our own garden is bigger and runs alongside it, you can see it from the bedrooms. It's not private from us, but we're often not in it. Kids seem to like the space.
Framlingham is the nearest town, about a mile away. It's got a good Co-op for shopping and plenty of pubs that do food. The castle is the main thing there. From the cottage itself, you can just walk straight out into the lanes. The cycling round here is good, it's flat and the roads are quiet.
You're well placed for the coast. Aldeburgh is about twenty minutes by car. Southwold is maybe twenty five. That's where the sandy beach is, and the pier. Minsmere, the RSPB reserve, is close to there too if you're a birdwatcher. Woodbridge is in the other direction, similar distance, good for a walk by the river.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. We can put a highchair in if you need one. No pets, I'm afraid.
