The Granary is in Saxtead, Suffolk. It's a detached cottage converted from an old granary. It looks over a pond with lilies and ducks. The garden is shared with one other cottage, The Stables, and the owners' farmhouse. It's about four acres, with a tennis court you can use.
It sleeps six in four bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean without being high-end. The stairs are a normal cottage staircase, not a spiral or anything.
There's a shop and pubs about a mile away in the village. The local area is quiet and good for walking. You're right near Saxtead Green Post Mill, which is a National Trust site.
Framlingham is two miles away. It's a nice market town with a castle you can walk around and a mere. Woodbridge is about eight miles, with its tide mill and harbour. For the coast, Southwold is roughly a twenty minute drive. Aldeburgh is a bit further, maybe thirty minutes.
There's a golf course nearby, and you can arrange horse riding locally.
For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
