The Granary is in Saxtead, Suffolk. It's a converted granary, detached. It overlooks a pond with lilies and ducks. You share four acres of garden with the main farmhouse and the other cottage, The Stables. There's an all-weather tennis court anyone on the site can use.
It sleeps six. Four bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, so it's comfortable and clean, not luxurious. It's all on the ground floor, which is useful.
There's a shop and a couple of pubs about a mile away in the village. Framlingham is two miles. It's a nice market town with a big castle and a mere. The English Heritage page for the castle has the opening times.
The coast is about a 30 minute drive. Southwold has the beach and the pier. Aldeburgh is a bit further south. Woodbridge, with the harbour on the River Deben, is about 20 minutes away.
Saxtead Green Post Mill, the old windmill, is a mile from here. It's looked after by English Heritage and is open sometimes.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
If you're booking for a bigger group, The Stables next door can be booked at the same time.
