Courtyard Cottage Framlingham

Courtyard Cottage is my holiday let in Framlingham. It's a two-up two-down, right in the middle of town. You're about a hundred yards from the market square, so you can walk to the shops, pubs, and cafes easily. It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The stairs are a bit steep and narrow, which is pretty standard for a place like this. A stairgate is fitted at the top.

The garden is out the back. It's a courtyard, so it's enclosed and private. You get the sun in the afternoon. There's parking for one car on the drive.

I allow up to two well-behaved dogs. The bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, a TV, and WiFi. I can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.

Framlingham itself is nice. The castle is the main thing. It's a good walk around the walls and the mere. The town has a butcher, a baker, a Co-op, and a few places to eat. The pub down the road does food.

If you drive, you can get to the coast in about half an hour. Aldeburgh is one way, Southwold the other. Both are proper seaside towns with beaches and fish and chips.

Closer by, Easton Farm Park is about four miles away if you've got kids. For history, Sutton Hoo is about 13 miles. Woodbridge, on the River Deben, is about 12 miles.
