The Stables
The Stables is a converted stable block on our farm in Saxtead. It's detached. There are four bedrooms, with one bathroom on the ground floor. It sleeps five.
It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. You've got a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. The wifi is fine for browsing. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
Outside, you have your own garden area with a BBQ. There's a shared tennis court on the property that guests can use. The main farmhouse garden and the duck pond are also there to look at. It's quiet.
You're a mile from Saxtead Green. There's a shop and a couple of pubs there. The famous Saxtead Green Post Mill is well worth a look.
Framlingham is only about ten minutes away by car. It's a nice market town. The castle is very good. You can walk the walls. The mere is pleasant for a stroll.
For the coast, Southwold is about half an hour's drive. It's a classic Suffolk seaside town with a good beach and the Adnams brewery. Aldeburgh is a bit further, maybe forty minutes. Woodbridge, with its tide mill and harbour, is about twenty minutes away.
If you're into walking, the area is good for that. For fishing, riding, or golf, there are places within ten miles. We can point you in the right direction.
