The Woodshed
The Woodshed is one of three cottages here at Green Valley, on our farm. The farm isn't working anymore, it's just our home. The cottage is all on one level and the doorway is wide, so it's suitable for a wheelchair user to get in.
It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and comfortable. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner for colder nights.
You're in Ubbeston, which is a quiet village. It's very rural. The nearest shop is about two and a half miles away in Laxfield, and the closest pub is nearly four miles. You'll need a car.
It's a good spot for getting around Suffolk. Framlingham with its castle is about a 20 minute drive. Southwold and the coast is about half an hour away. There are plenty of walks from the door and good country pubs within a short drive.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, a cot if you need it, bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right outside. No pets, I'm afraid. The other two cottages, The Dairy and The Cowshed, can be booked with this one if you're a larger group.
