The Cart Lodge Fressingfield

The Cart Lodge is out near Fressingfield in Suffolk. It's converted from an old barn, so it's single storey. It's detached, so there's no one else nearby. The views are across fields, nothing but countryside.

It sleeps four. Two bedrroms: one double and one twin that can be pushed together. All on the ground floor. There's a ramp and the shower is a walk-in with a rail, so it works if you have mobility issues. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well done and comfortable.

Outside, there's a garden with decking and a BBQ. It has a hot tub, which isn't overlooked. The property has a large moat on the grounds with a couple of fishing platforms.

Fressingfield itself has a shop and a couple of pubs. Eye is about eight miles away, that's your proper market town with shops and a castle.

The coast is the main draw. Southwold is probably the closest, about a 40 minute drive. Good for a day out, with the pier and the beach. Aldeburgh is a bit further on, famous for its fish and chips. Thorpeness is next to it, with the Meare you can boat on. It's an odd, nice place.

Facilities: it's got the usual - WiFi, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking and an electric vehicle charger. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
