Rose Farm Barn
Rose Farm Barn is out near Swan Green. It’s a big, detached barn that’s been converted. It's Grade II listed, so it’s full of old beams and character. There's a lot of space inside, which is why it works for big groups or family get-togethers.
It sleeps twelve. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is a wet room on the ground floor, which is handy. It’s got a 5 Star rating, so everything’s in good order and well-equipped.
You’ve got a few different rooms to spread out into. There’s a large kitchen, a dining room with big doors that open onto the deck, a couple of living areas, and a games room. The garden is enclosed and looks out over fields. You can also walk around the four acres of grounds here, there’s a small orchard.
It’s on a quiet lane. The nearest shop and pub are in Laxfield, about two miles away. Framlingham and Halesworth are the proper market towns nearby, about a fifteen minute drive. Framlingham has the castle, which is worth a look. The coast is about half an hour’s drive. Southwold has the pier and beach huts, Aldeburgh is good for a wander and fish and chips. RSPB Minsmere is a big draw if you like birdwatching.
For things to do, you’ve got Sutton Hoo inland, and the concert hall at Snape Maltings. Woodbridge has a pool and an independent cinema.
In terms of what’s here, it has pretty much everything you’d need: dishwasher, washing machine, Wi-Fi, parking. There’s a cot and highchair if required. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. The garden is enclosed, which helps with that.
