Rose Farm Barn Swan Green

It's called Rose Farm Barn and it's on a quiet lane near Swan Green, just outside Laxfield. It's a big old converted barn, Grade II listed. Detached. You get the place to yourselves with about four acres of grounds around it, including a small orchard. The garden's enclosed.

It sleeps twelve. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. It has a 5 Star rating so it's well equipped. There's a big kitchen, a dining room with doors that open onto the decking, two living areas, and a games room.

It's full of beams, which look great but you do need to mind your head in a couple of places. They're low. There's a ground floor wet room which is handy.

Laxfield village is about two miles away. It's got a shop and a couple of pubs that do food. For a bigger shop, you'd go to Halesworth or Framlingham. Framlingham has the castle. Both towns are about a fifteen or twenty minute drive.

The coast at Southwold or Aldeburgh is roughly a half hour drive. Southwold has the pier and beach huts. Aldeburgh is known for its fish and chips and the music festival. Snape Maltings is out that way too.

Inland, places like Woodbridge on the river or Sutton Hoo are also within about half an hour.

Facilities: All bedding and towels are included. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, parking on site, and WiFi. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
