The Old Bike Shop is in Brockdish. It's a detached cottage. We converted it about ten years ago. It's got one bedroom, so it's just for two people. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well looked after.
The main thing is it's quiet. It's on a little lane in a conservation area. The garden is enclosed, so it's private. There's a patio with a table and a BBQ. Inside, it's one room downstairs with the kitchen, sitting area, and a woodburner. The beams are original. Upstairs is the bedroom and a shower room.
There's a pub about 200 yards down the road. The nearest shop is in Diss, that's four miles. You'll want a car.
It's a good spot for seeing this bit of the country. The Norfolk Broads are about half an hour's drive. Southwold and the Suffolk coast are a bit further, maybe 40 minutes. Norwich is 25 miles one way, Bury St Edmunds is 20 the other. You can get to both in under an hour.
What's here: parking right outside, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
