Oaklawn Cottage
Oaklawn Cottage is out at our place, just outside Eye. It's detached so you're on your own, with your own garden. It looks out over the fields here. It's quiet.
It's a two-bedroom place, sleeps four. One bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating so it's comfortable and clean, but not fancy. It's an old cottage, so there are some beams. The stairs are steep. They're cottage stairs.
There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. TV, parking, all your bedding and towels are there. We can put a cot and highchair in for you if you need them. You can bring one dog.
Eye is about two miles away for a shop and a couple of pubs. For a bigger trip, you're about half an hour from the coast at places like Aldeburgh or Southwold. The Suffolk Coast and Heaths are right there for walking. Woodbridge and the Deben estuary are nice, about 25 minutes by car.
If you want to drive out for the day, The Broads and the Dedham Vale area, that's Constable Country, are both within an hour or so.
