John Fanner Barn
John Fanner Barn is in Yaxley. It's a timber-framed barn in the grounds of the main manor house. It's a detached building.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. The main living area has a high ceiling with a galleried landing above it. That's where one of the bedrooms is. It's a king size bed up there. The other bedroom is on the ground floor. It's got a traditional feel. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well equipped.
The grounds are shared with the other two cottages here. There's a kids' play area and a games room. You get a private patio area too.
There's a pub in the village about half a mile away. Eye is five minutes by car. Diss is about fifteen minutes. It's a proper market town with shops and supermarkets.
Norwich is roughly half an hour's drive if you want a city day. The Visit Norwich site has information. For broader local attractions, Visit Suffolk is useful.
Facilities wise: it has a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. It accepts one well-behaved dog. We provide a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them.
