Wisteria Lodge is a converted barn just outside Diss, in Norfolk. It's detached, but it's next to another cottage called Woodcrest Barn which belongs to the same site. You can book them together if you're a bigger group.
It's all on one level, so no stairs at all. There's a small enclosed courtyard garden with a hot tub. Inside it's open plan with a kitchen, living area and the bed at one end. It's been done to a very high standard, everything feels new. The bed is a king size with a really good mattress.
There's a shared games room in a shed behind the cottage with a pool table and table tennis. It's just for you and whoever is next door if they're booked.
The village, Roydon, is quiet. There's a pub about half a mile away that does food. Diss is a mile away for shops and cafes.
From here, you're right between Norwich and Bury St Edmunds, both about a 30 minute drive. The coast at Southwold or Aldeburgh is about 45 minutes. The Norfolk Broads are maybe 40 minutes away if you fancied a boat trip. For walking, Thetford Forest is close by. Ickworth House is about half an hour's drive.
Facilities: it's got everything you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Parking right outside. Everything is included, even bedding and towels. The place is wheelchair friendly.
