Little Crown is in Shelfanger, in south Norfolk. It's a semi-detached cottage that used to be the village pub, back in the 1600s. It's a Grade II listed building, so the restoration had to be done carefully.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom. The stairs are steep. One bedroom has a double bed, the second has a trundle bed that can be one single or two small singles. You need to let us know which you want when you book. There are no children under 18 allowed.
Downstairs is all open plan. Kitchen, living area, dining space. There's a wood burning stove. You can order a Gousto meal box to be delivered before you arrive, it'll be in the kitchen with the chilled stuff in the fridge.
Outside, there's a private parking space at the front and a sunny sitting area. There's a lockable bike shed round the back, and an electric vehicle charger.
The village is quiet. You can walk or cycle straight from the door. The market town of Diss is three miles away. It has shops and a train station with trains to Norwich and London.
Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens are about 11 minutes away by car. For a day out, the coast at Southwold or Aldeburgh is about an hour's drive. The Norfolk Broads are near Wroxham, which is about 45 minutes. Bury St Edmunds is about half an hour.
