Granary Barn

Granary Barn is on my farm in Banham, Norfolk. It’s a detached barn conversion, so it's quiet and private. The garden is yours to use.

It sleeps two, one bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. It’s got a 5 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and well finished.

The bedroom is upstairs, reached by a spiral staircase. It’s a bit tighter than a normal staircase, so just take your time. The room itself has high ceilings and French doors that open to a Juliet balcony. You look out over the garden and the paddocks.

Downstairs, the living area has oak floors and opens directly onto a private south-facing terrace. It's a proper sun trap.

There's a shared indoor heated swimming pool on the farm. It’s available for guests to use. You'll need to bring your own swimming towels.

We have a few Suffolk Punch horses in the paddocks. They're lovely. If you want to meet them, just let me know.

The location is peaceful. There are some good footpaths right from the door for walks. Banham Zoo is right next door. It’s an award-winning place, well thought of.

The local shop and pub are about half a mile away in the village. They're handy.

If you want to explore further, Wymondham is a nice market town about a 15-minute drive. Norwich is about 35 minutes. It's a proper city with a castle, cathedral, and shops. The Norfolk Broads around Wroxham are about 40 minutes by car if you fancy a boat trip. The North Norfolk coast, with places like Cromer and Sheringham, is about an hour's drive.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, TV, Wi-Fi, parking at the barn, and bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
