Bressingham Hall is a big house near Diss in Norfolk. It sleeps up to 21 people. There are eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which covers all the facilities.
The house is 17th century and Grade II listed. The entrance hall has a big staircase. Some rooms have decorative fireplaces, but they're not for use. The dining table seats 18. The kitchen has everything you'd need for a group that size.
The bedrooms are a good size and most are en-suite. It's furnished comfortably, but it's not overly delicate.
The best part is the location. The house is right next to the Bressingham Gardens. You get free access from dawn until dusk during your stay. The gardens are famous and well worth your time if you like plants. There's also a private, enclosed garden attached to the house with a lawn and a fish pond. You can book to have a hot tub installed there for an extra cost.
There's a converted barn and a marquee on the estate that can be hired for weddings or big parties. You'd need to arrange that directly.
Facilities wise, it has what you'd expect: WiFi, TVs, a washing machine, dishwasher, parking. Bedding and towels are included. A cot and highchair are there if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
It's a rural spot. There's a local pub, and you're not far from the town of Diss for shops. The North Norfolk coast, with places like Holkham and Blakeney, is about an hour's drive. Thetford Forest is good for cycling and walking, that's about 30 minutes away.
