Chestnut Cottage
Chestnut Cottage is in Great Green, Suffolk. It's detached and all on one floor. There are no steps inside, which is handy for some.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, meaning it's well kept and comfortable.
It's next to our house, and we share the big gravel courtyard. But you have your own private bit of garden to sit out in. The cottage looks out over six acres of our land, mostly woodland and open fields. You're welcome to walk through it.
There's a shop and a pub about a mile away. The villages of Rickinghall and Wortham are close too, for other pubs and shops.
If you like fishing, Hinderclay Lakes are about a mile and a half away. Six lakes there.
It's a good spot for getting out. Bury St Edmunds is about 30 minutes drive. So is Diss. The coast at Southwold or Aldeburgh takes about 45 minutes. Thetford Forest is great for cycling and walks, also about 45 minutes.
For what's here: there's a washing machine, bedding and towels are included, TV, parking right outside, and a BBQ you can use. No pets, I'm afraid.
