Brushmaker Cottage is in Diss, on the Norfolk-Suffolk border. It's a semi-detached cottage spread over three floors, so it's got a bit of space. Sleeps six.
Downstairs is a living room, kitchen, and separate dining room that goes out to the garden. The garden is enclosed. Up a floor for two double bedrooms, one has an en-suite. Then there's another flight of stairs up to a twin room. The stairs are a bit steep, but they're fine.
It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burner, WiFi, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site. The entrance is step-free, so it's suitable for wheelchairs to get in. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
The local shop and pub are about a mile away. It's a good spot for getting out. The Norfolk Broads are about half an hour by car. The Suffolk Heritage Coast, places like Southwold, is similar. Norwich is about 20 miles away if you want a city day.
For local history, Bressingham Steam Museum is close, about a ten-minute drive. Useful links if you're planning: National Trust Norfolk and for the Broads, Broads Authority.
