You go up some stairs to get in. It's open plan, so the living, kitchen and dining area are all one space. The ceiling is high and you get views over the rooftops.
It's right in the middle of town, in the old part they call the heritage triangle. Step outside and you're on the street with shops and restaurants. The nearest pub and places to eat are about 60 yards away. There's a supermarket about three quarters of a mile off if you need it.
Diss itself is a nice market town. There's a lot of old timber-framed buildings, a church, a museum. The main feature is Diss Mere, which is a big, deep natural lake. There's a boardwalk that goes out over it.
If you want to go further out, the coast is within about an hour's drive. Southwold has the pier, lighthouse and beach. Walberswick is nearby for the bird reserve. RSPB Walberswick.
Facilities: everything's included, bedding and towels, wifi, TV. There's fishing locally and a golf course within two miles. No pets.
