Larks Nest
Larks Nest is in Wortham, Suffolk. It's a single storey cottage, attached to our house on one side. It sleeps three but it's got one bedroom with a kingsize bed. The other bed is a sofa bed in the living area.
It's a 5 Star place, which means it's been done to a high standard. Everything is on the ground floor, no stairs. The wet room is good if you have mobility concerns. The living space is open plan.
You have your own enclosed courtyard garden. It gets the sun in the evening and looks out over the fields. About twenty yards from the front door is the village common. There's a duck pond and a meadow. It's a nice spot to sit.
The village is quiet. There are footpaths straight from the door for walking. Diss is about a quarter of an hour's drive. They've got supermarkets, a train station, and the usual town stuff.
For a day out, Bressingham Steam Museum and Gardens is about fifteen minutes away. Thetford Forest is good for walking and cycling, that's half an hour. The coast at Southwold or Aldeburgh is just under an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bedding and towels are included. Parking is on the drive next to the cottage. You can bring up to two dogs.
