It's a glamping pod on our land. Called Park View because it looks out over the fields. It's on its own, so it's quiet.
The pod sleeps two, in a double bed. There's a sofa bed too if you need it for an extra person, but it's really best for two. One shower room. It’s modern and clean inside. Everything's on one level and the door is wide, so it's accessible if you need that.
You get your own bit of garden with a seating area they call a 'tree sofa', a fire pit, and a barbecue. There's a big fishing pond on the property. It's mainly carp. You'll need your own gear.
The pod is near Wortham Ling. Diss is the nearest town, about a mile and a half by road. There's a footpath that's a bit shorter. Diss has the basics: shops, supermarkets, a few pubs. It has a train station too, so you can get to Norwich or London if you don't want to drive.
For local days out, Bressingham Steam and Gardens is about ten minutes away by car. The coast at places like Southwold or Aldeburgh is about an hour's drive. Good for a day out if you want beaches.
In terms of what's here: all the bedding and towels are included. There's wifi and parking right by the pod. One well-behaved dog is welcome. We ask that you keep it on a lead around the livestock.
If you're looking for walks or nature spots, the RSPB at Minsmere is a big one for birdwatchers. The National Trust looks after a lot of the Suffolk coastline and heathland.
