Oak Cottage is in Stoke Ash, a quiet village in Suffolk. It's a semi-detached place, full of old beams from when it was built in the 16th century. You can book it together with the cottage next door if you've got a bigger group.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The stairs are what you'd expect in an old cottage. They're fine, but they wind up a bit.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. There's a patio with a BBQ and an outdoor pizza oven. There's also a covered hot tub and a barrel sauna out there. We get them serviced regularly.
Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a range oven and a dishwasher. We provide all the bedding and towels. There's WiFi and a washing machine. A travel cot and highchair are there if you need them.
You can bring up to two dogs. We leave a dog bed and some treats. There's an extra charge for that.
The village has a shop about 200 yards away. There's a 17th century coaching inn on the green, and a couple of other pubs within a mile or so. One of them is vegetarian-friendly. The market town of Eye is about four miles away.
If you want to go further, Norwich is a good day out. It's about half an hour's drive. You've got the coast and the Suffolk Coast and Heaths area within easy reach too.
