Wilby Halt Knaves Green

Wilby Halt is in Knaves Green. It's two old railway carriages joined by a platform. The first one is for living and cooking, the second one has the beds. It's detached and looks out over fields.

It sleeps five. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. One room has a double bed, the other has bunks and a single. It's got a 4 Star rating.

You're right on the old railway track bed. The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway Museum is a short walk away. They run steam trains on weekends in the summer.

There's a pub, shop, and a bakery about a mile and a half away in Mendlesham. For a bigger shop, Debenham is four miles. It's got a few nice places to eat and a leisure centre.

The owner has a swimming pool, about three-quarters of a mile from the cottage. It's heated from March to November. There's also a hot tub and a sauna there.

It's quiet here, good for walking and cycling. For a day out, Framlingham Castle is about half an hour's drive. The Suffolk coast, like Aldeburgh or Southwold, is just over half an hour away.

Facilities: there's a patio garden, a TV, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
