The Old Workshop is a barn we converted. It's on our working farm, just outside Stowupland in Suffolk. It's detached and you get a private patio garden area.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which basically means it's been finished to a high standard. It's all on one level and the entrance is wheelchair accessible, but it's worth checking the specifics if that's important for your party.
The main room is open plan. There's a big window that looks straight out over the fields and also down onto our horse arena. The blinds on it are a bit unusual, they're these flexible slats you can angle however you like for privacy.
You've got a range style cooker, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. There's a wood burner. Outside, there's a barbecue and a wood-fired hot tub. We'll have the hot tub set up and ready for you to light.
The farm is quiet but not remote. You can walk into Stowupland village in about ten minutes. There's a shop and a couple of pubs there. Stowmarket is a short drive and has a mainline train station to London if you need it.
For days out, you're quite central in Suffolk. Bury St Edmunds and its cathedral are about twenty minutes west. The coast at Aldeburgh or Southwold is roughly forty minutes east. If you head west, you've got places like Lavenham with its medieval buildings, or Newmarket for the racing.
You can bring up to two dogs. All bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
