Fairy Cottage Old Newton

This is Fairy Cottage in Old Newton. It's a detached bungalow, so everything's on one level. The owners live next door, but it's your own place with your own garden. The garden's enclosed with a lawn.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, not huge, but it's been looked after. Because it's a bungalow, the doorways and rooms are a good size, no low beams or anything.

The village is quiet. There's a shop about five minutes' walk away. A restaurant is closer, maybe three minutes. For a pub, you'd need to drive a couple of miles.

Stowmarket is the nearest proper town. It's about three miles. There's a leisure centre there, shops, and a train station with trains to Ipswich, Norwich, and London.

You're well placed for getting out. Bury St Edmunds is about twenty minutes by car. Lavenham and Long Melford, with their timber-framed buildings, are roughly half an hour. For the coast, places like Aldeburgh or Southwold are about forty-five minutes to an hour's drive. The Suffolk Broads are similar.
