Blackberry Cottage Combs

Blackberry Cottage is in Combs, Suffolk. It's a semi-detached place, sleeps two. One bedroom upstairs in the eaves, one bathroom.

It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's a very good standard. Everything is in good order. It's open plan downstairs, which makes it feel quite spacious. The garden is yours to use and it's got a patio area.

It's wheelchair friendly at the entrance. Inside, the bedroom is up a flight of stairs so that part isn't accessible.

We take up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. You've got a washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking right outside.

Combs is quiet. There's a local pub. Stowmarket is the nearest town, about three miles away. They've got supermarkets and a few places to eat. The Museum of East Anglian Life is there if you're interested.

You're well placed for getting around. Lavenham and Long Melford are about a twenty minute drive. They're very old, timber-framed villages, nice for a walk and a coffee. Bury St Edmunds is a bit further, maybe half an hour. It has the abbey ruins and good shops.

The coast is about forty minutes in the car. Aldeburgh and Southwold are the main ones. For walking, Thetford Forest is roughly thirty minutes away.

If you want to use the train, Stowmarket station has direct lines to Norwich in one direction and London in the other.
