Blackberry Cottage is in Combs, just outside Stowmarket. It's a semi-detached cottage for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been finished to a high standard.
The main room is open plan. The bedroom is up in the eaves. The ceilings up there are a bit lower because of the roof slope, but it's fine if you're average height.
You've got a garden to yourselves with a BBQ. Parking is right outside. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, and there's a step-free shower inside. The washing machine, WiFi, and TV are all there. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
The cottage feels rural but you're not remote. There's a local pub a short walk away, and you can drive into Stowmarket in a few minutes for shops and places to eat. The Museum of East Anglian Life there is good if you're interested in that sort of thing.
You're in a decent spot for seeing Suffolk. Lavenham and Long Melford, with their old buildings, are about a twenty minute drive. Bury St Edmunds is roughly half an hour. For the coast, Aldeburgh is just under an hour's drive. The Thetford Forest is about the same, if you fancy a walk among the trees.
