Doves Barn

Doves Barn is in Needham Market, Suffolk. It's a Grade II listed barn from the 16th century. It sleeps 22 people, which is a lot. There are eight bedrooms and six bathrooms.

The main thing is the space. It's detached and sits in about two acres of its own grounds. There are two patio areas and an eight-person hot tub.

Inside, it's what you'd expect from an old barn: very high ceilings, big oak beams, and a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. Because it's old, the floor isn't completely level in places. Two of the bedrooms are galleried, up open-tread stairs.

It has a 4 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and comfortable. It's not a five-star hotel, but it's got everything you'd need for a big group. We include bedding. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and wifi.

You can bring one dog. We have a cot and highchair if needed.

Needham Market is about a mile away. There's a shop, a pub, and a restaurant about the same distance. The pub serves food.

For days out, Ipswich is 12 miles away. Bury St. Edmunds is 19 miles and has good shopping. The Suffolk coast is about half an hour's drive. Aldeburgh and Southwold are the main towns there. They have beaches, shops, and places to eat.

It's good for walking and cycling locally. There's fishing nearby. A golf course is close by.
