Willow Cottage Creeting Bottoms

Willow Cottage is behind our house in Creeting Bottoms. It's a single-storey, detached place we finished doing up in 2022. It's all on one level and the doors are wide enough for a wheelchair.

It's for four people, but that's using the sofa bed in the living area. There's one proper bedroom with a kingsize bed. The sofa bed is good quality, it's not an afterthought. One bathroom with a walk-in shower.

You get your own south-facing patio and garden. It looks out over fields. We get muntjac deer, rabbits, all sorts. The paddocks behind belong to the neighbours, so you can't wander into them.

It's a 5 Star rated place. That means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. It's got things like a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and an electric vehicle charger. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

You're right in the countryside here. Good for walking and cycling straight from the door. There's a local yoga instructor who can come to the cottage for a session if you arrange it in advance.

The village shop is about two and a half miles away. For a bigger shop, Needham Market is five miles. There are a few pubs and takeaways within five miles. Stowmarket and Needham Market have train stations with links to Ipswich, Norwich, and London.

Ipswich and its waterfront are about twelve miles. Bury St Edmunds is twenty miles, good for a day out shopping. The Suffolk coast is within a half hour drive. Places like Aldeburgh, Snape Maltings, and Southwold. If you fancy a trip to Cambridge, that's about an hour away.
