Willow Cottage

Willow Cottage is in Creeting Bottoms. It's a single-storey place, detached. We had it done up a couple of years ago. It sits in our garden, but it's all yours while you're here. You get your own patio and garden out the back, which faces south. It looks out over some meadows.

It's rated 5 Star. It sleeps four, but it's one proper bedroom with a kingsize bed. The sofa in the living area is a good quality sofa bed for two more people. There's one bathroom. It's all on the ground floor.

The garden isn't fenced in, so if you're bringing a dog you need to know that. There's an oak tree out there. We get muntjac deer, rabbits, and lots of birds coming through. The fields behind us belong to the neighbours, so you can't go into them.

You're near Earl Stonham village, just off the A140. The A14 is a few miles away for getting around. The nearest shop is about two miles away at the Ten Bells in Stonham Aspal. There are other pubs, takeaways, and a post office within five miles. Supermarkets are about seven miles.

Needham Market is close. It's a small town, nice for a wander. You can walk along the River Gipping from there. Ipswich is about twelve miles for the waterfront. Bury St Edmunds is further, maybe 45 minutes by car, for proper shops and the abbey gardens.

The coast is within half an hour or so. Places like Aldeburgh, Southwold, and Dunwich Heath. National Trust Suffolk Coast has good information for that. For birdwatching and walks, Suffolk Wildlife Trust lists the reserves.

The place has a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. We've put in an electric vehicle charger. There's parking right outside.

You can bring one dog.
