This is Railway Carriage One. It's part of a set of old railway buildings out at Knaves Green in Suffolk. The place is right on the old track bed. You get views over the fields.
It says it sleeps four, but that's with two bunk beds. They're short bunks, really only suitable for kids. So honestly, it's best for two adults, maybe with a couple of children. It's a railway carriage, so space is compact. Everything you need is there, it's just in a smaller area. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept.
You're on your own with the carriage and its patio area. The owner has a swimming pool, sauna and hot tub about three quarters of a mile away that you can use. It's heated year-round.
The Mid-Suffolk Light Railway Museum is a short walk away. They run steam trains on weekends in the summer. The village of Mendlesham is a mile and a half away for basics. Debenham, about four miles, has a supermarket, a few pubs and a leisure centre.
For days out, it's a good spot. You're about half an hour's drive from the coast at places like Aldeburgh or Southwold. National Trust Suffolk has some good walks and properties nearby. Framlingham Castle is worth a visit.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, WiFi, bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets.
