Apple Store
This is The Apple Store in Elmswell. It's a semi-detached cottage, single storey, so everything is on the ground floor. It was a farm building, I converted it. The cottage sits in a corner of my own garden, so you might see me or my little dog around, but you've got your own private patio area.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. It has a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and very clean.
The village shop is a two-minute walk. The pub is five minutes down the road. They do food.
Bury St Edmunds is about ten minutes away by car. It's nice for a wander, you've got the Abbey Gardens and the cathedral. Newmarket is maybe twenty minutes if you fancy the races. For the coast, Felixstowe is about forty-five minutes' drive. Southwold and Aldeburgh are a bit further, about an hour.
It's easy to get around from here. You're close to the A14 and there's a train station in the village with direct links to Cambridge and Ipswich.
What's here: there's a washing machine, a TV, WiFi, parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included. There's a bike store if you need it, and a BBQ on the patio. No pets, I'm afraid.
A couple of useful links if you're planning trips: National Trust for Bury St Edmunds and Forestry England for Rendlesham Forest, which is a good place for a walk and about half an hour away.
