Symond House Stowlangtoft

Symond House is a two bedroom cottage in Stowlangtoft. It's in a converted courtyard that’s part of the Stowlangtoft Estate. You’re surrounded by their land, about a thousand acres of it.

The cottage is new, done up in 2022. It’s got a fresh, simple look inside. Everything works and it's clean. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom and main bedroom are on the first floor, and the twin room is up another flight of stairs on the top floor.

The living room opens out into the shared courtyard. Out the back of the courtyard there’s a big garden area with a kids' play park and a football pitch. It’s all very open, with those big Suffolk skies.

Wyken Vineyards is about a mile and a half away. You can walk or drive. They’ve got a shop, a restaurant, and a farmers market on Saturdays. Bury St Edmunds is the main town nearby. The Abbey Gardens are nice for a wander. It’s about a 15 minute drive.

The place is set up for a straightforward stay. It has a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, wifi, and parking right outside. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but it's worth noting the main bedroom and bathroom are upstairs. You can bring two dogs.
