The Old Bakery
The Old Bakery is just off the green in Pulham Market, on the Norfolk side of the Waveney Valley. It's detached, with its own garden.
It sleeps eight in four bedrooms. They're all doubles. Each has its own bathroom, which is handy with a big group. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's well looked after.
The ceiling is low in the kitchen because of the old beams, so watch your head if you're tall. The fireplace in the living room works. There's a dishwasher and a washing machine. The WiFi usually works fine.
You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, but check the hedges if you've got an escape artist.
The village has two pubs, both about a five minute walk. One does food. There's a village shop. For a bigger shop, Harleston is three miles away and Diss is six. Diss has a train station with links to Norwich and London.
Norwich is about half an hour's drive for proper shops, the cathedral, and the castle museum. The coast is a bit further. Southwold is roughly 45 minutes. It's a nice traditional seaside town with a pier and beach huts.
The Broads are close for boat hire, around Bungay and Beccles. For walking, the valley paths are good right from the door.
