The Old Bakery is in Pulham Market. It's a detached cottage, used to be a bakery. You get the whole place to yourselves. It's on a village green.
The cottage sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well-finished. It's a listed building, so the ceilings are low in places and the beams are quite exposed. Watch your head.
There's a pub about 500 yards away. It serves food. The village shop is nearby. For a bigger shop, Harleston is about three miles away. Diss is five miles and has a train station with links to London and Norwich.
Norwich city is 15 miles away if you want a day out shopping or museums. The coast is about half an hour's drive. Southwold is a typical seaside town with a pier and beach huts.
The Waveney Valley is good for walking. The Norfolk Broads are about a 30-minute drive if you want to hire a boat or see the waterways. Beccles and Bungay are the main spots for that.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
