It's the Northgate Bakery Annex. It's part of our house in Beccles, sort of off to the side with its own door.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after.
The main thing is the building is really old. There are proper oak beams and a big inglenook fireplace. Some bits are over 450 years old. The kitchen floor is Victorian tiles. It's full of character, which means the stairs are narrow and a bit steep. Just so you know.
The bed has a canopy on it, Tudor style. There's a walk-in wardrobe with a kettle and things in it, so you can make a cup of tea without going downstairs.
You're right in the town. The high street with shops and pubs is a few minutes walk uphill. Downhill is the river. You can walk along the Waveney for miles. There's a quay where you can watch the boats or hire one. Broads Authority has the details for that.
Southwold and the coast are about twenty minutes' drive. Good for a day out. Visit Suffolk has ideas. Norwich is forty minutes or so if you want a city trip, cathedral and that.
You've got a small private garden area. Parking is right outside. There's WiFi, a TV, and a washing machine. All the bedding and towels are included. Sorry, no pets.
