This is Ashlors. It's our place in Bridlington's Old Town, about five minutes' drive from the beach. It's a duplex apartment in a building that's over 200 years old.
It sleeps five people in two bedrooms. There's one bathroom with a toilet, and a separate downstairs WC. The stairs are very steep, just so you know. They're part of the old building. The floors slope a bit in places too.
There's one bedroom on the first floor with bunk beds: a double on the bottom and a single on top. Upstairs on the second floor is the main bedroom with a king-size bed. It's got a smart TV in the living room and WiFi. Towels and bedding are included. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher.
It's above our fish and chip shop. You'll get a discount voucher when you arrive. The shop entrance is separate, so your front door is just for you.
The Old Town is right outside. There's a pub, some historic shops, and tea rooms on the street. The beach and harbour are a short drive away. For walking, the coast path is close. Flamborough Head and Bempton Cliffs are about ten minutes by car. The RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is good if you like seabirds.
Further out, you can get to York or Whitby in about an hour. The Yorkshire Wolds are on your doorstep for walks or cycling.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and has what you need, but it's an old building, so mind your head on the beams.
