Annie's Cottage
Annie's Cottage is in Bempton, which is on the coast between Bridlington and Flamborough. It's a new-build detached cottage, so it's got good insulation and everything works. The garden is enclosed, which is good for a dog.
It sleeps two, one bedroom upstairs. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well finished and comfortable. Everything's on the ground floor except the bedroom.
The kitchen has a dishwasher. The living area opens onto the patio with French doors. The stairs to the bedroom have a glass panel, which you don't see often. The bedroom itself has sloped ceilings and a separate dressing area with its own toilet.
Bempton is quiet. There's a village pond across the road. The train station is a five minute walk. You can get to Bridlington, Scarborough, York or Hull from there, which is useful.
The main reason people come here is for the cliffs. The RSPB Bempton Cliffs reserve is just down the lane. You can watch the sea birds from the path. Puffins, gannets, all that. It's quite a thing to see.
Bridlington is about four miles away for shops and the beach. The Flamborough headland is good for walks, like Yorkshire Wolds Way. For a day out, you've got Sewerby Hall or Burton Agnes Hall within half an hour. York is about an hour's drive.
Facilities: it's got parking, WiFi, a Smart TV with Sky, a cot if needed, and bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved pet is allowed.
