Seagull's Nest

Seagull's Nest is a two bedroom cottage in Flamborough. It sleeps four. We accept up to two dogs.

It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean, modern, and warm. The layout is open plan downstairs. You've got a sofa, a dining table, and a kitchen with an induction hob, oven, dishwasher, and an air fryer. The stove is electric but looks like a log burner.

Upstairs there's a double bedroom and a bunk room. The bathroom has a shower. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so they're a bit steep and turn at the top.

Outside is a small enclosed patio area with seating. It's secure for dogs. There's storage round the side for bikes or surfboards.

The village is a two minute walk. There's a pub that does food, a couple of places for fish and chips, a tea room, and a convenience shop. It's handy.

Flamborough Head itself is the main reason to be here. The cliffs are spectacular. The RSPB reserve at Bempton Cliffs is about ten minutes by car. You can see puffins in season. You can walk for miles along the coast path from the door. You might see seals in the coves if you're lucky. The lighthouse is a working one, and there's a restaurant there.

Bridlington is a fifteen minute drive. It's a traditional seaside town with a sandy beach, a promenade, and a harbour. There's a land train along the front if you don't fancy walking.

For a day out, the North York Moors National Park is about forty five minutes away. Closer to home, Danes Dyke is a good woodland walk, and the Yorkshire Wolds are on the doorstep. There are several stately homes within half an hour, like Sewerby Hall or Burton Agnes.

In terms of facilities, it's all included. Bedding, towels, wifi, TV, electricity. There's a washing machine too. The garden is enclosed but it's not huge, just a patio area.
