Kings Lodge
This is Kings Lodge, just outside Bridlington. It's a new-build, so it's very modern and everything works. Detached house with its own garden. Sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms.
The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a high standard. There's underfloor heating, a hot tub in the garden, and a wood burner in the main living area. All the bedrooms have their own TVs. One bedroom is on the ground floor with its own shower, which is handy.
You can bring two dogs. There's a utility room with a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is on site.
It's about a ten-minute walk to the beach from here. Bridlington itself has two big beaches, a leisure centre, and amusements along the front. The land train along the promenade is a hit with kids.
For walks, Danes Dyke is close by. The RSPB at Bempton Cliffs is about fifteen minutes' drive. Flamborough Head is great for cliff-top walks. Filey Brigg is within half an hour.
Further out, you've got the North York Moors National Park and the Yorkshire Wolds about a thirty-minute drive inland. The historic city of York is under an hour away, and Whitby is about the same.
