Josies Den is on a quiet estate just outside Bridlington. It's a five minute drive from the main beach. It sleeps five.
There are two bedrooms upstairs. One has a king size bed. The other has a smaller double and a single bed in it, which works well if you've got kids. They share a bathroom with a shower over the bath.
Downstairs, there's a kitchen with French doors to the garden, a living room, and a separate toilet. We've left some board games and DVDs. The garden is enclosed, on two levels, with some seating. There's a little shed you can use for storing bikes or surfboards. It also has a table football game in it.
The property has a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, not luxurious. The stairs are a standard size.
You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking on the drive.
Bridlington itself is a proper seaside town. Two beaches, a promenade, arcades, fish and chips, the lot. The harbour is working, so you can buy fresh crab. The RSPB Bempton Cliffs nature reserve is about a 15 minute drive north, well worth a visit for the seabirds. Flamborough Head and Danes Dyke are also close by for walks.
Further afield, within about half an hour, you can get to Sewerby Hall, the town of Filey, or start exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The National Trust has a few properties in the area, like Sledmere House.
