The lodge is called Alfie. It's at Bridlington Links, just on the edge of Sewerby. You're up high here, so the views are good. You can see right out over the fields. We get deer through the grounds quite often.
It's a single-storey lodge, so no stairs. There's a ramp up to the decking. Everything is on one level inside. It sleeps four. Two bedrooms: one with a king bed and an en-suite bathroom that has a bath and a separate shower cubicle. The other room has two single beds. There's also a second shower room.
The main room is open plan, with big doors out to the deck. It's all pretty new and kept clean, it's got a 4 Star rating. There's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
Being on the golf course site means you can use the driving range, the bar and restaurant, and the gym if you want. There's a decent pub about a five minute walk through the grounds.
Sewerby Hall is just down the road, maybe a ten minute walk. You can go round the house, but the gardens are the real draw. There's a small zoo and a café. You can get the land train from there into Bridlington town centre if you don't fancy the walk.
Bridlington itself is a proper seaside town. Two main beaches, north and south. The harbour is nice for a wander.
If you drive, you've got a lot within thirty minutes. The cliffs at Flamborough Head. RSPB Bempton Cliffs for the seabirds. Burton Agnes Hall is about twenty minutes away. Filey is down the coast, Scarborough is a bit further.
