Pond's View

This is Pond's View. It's a detached lodge on Bridlington Links Park in Sewerby. The name is literal, you get a view over a pond from the decking.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own TVs. Two bathrooms, one is an ensuite off the main bedroom. The living space is open plan. There's a proper, enclosed decking area with a hot tub and seating.

The park itself is quiet. You get deer wandering about and there are great crested newts in the pond. There's a bar and restaurant at the golf clubhouse on site. The beach is about a fifteen minute walk away. There's a private gate from the park straight into the grounds of Sewerby Hall, which is next door.

Bridlington town is close. It's a typical Yorkshire seaside place with a harbour, a leisure centre, and plenty of places for fish and chips. The RSPB site at Bempton Cliffs is a short drive for puffins and seabirds. The Flamborough Headland heritage coast is right there too.

Further out, you can get to Beverley or York in under an hour if you want a day trip. The Yorkshire Wolds are good for walks or cycling.

In terms of stuff, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right by the lodge. It's set up for small children if needed, with a cot, highchair and stairgate. You can bring up to two dogs.
