Red Oaks
Red Oaks is a bungalow in Huntington. That's a suburb just outside York. It's detached, so it's quiet and you've got your own space.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One's a standard double, the other has a small double bed, so it's cosy. One bathroom with a shower over the bath. It's got a 3 Star rating. Everything works. It's clean and tidy, not luxurious.
You can park right outside. The living room has French doors that open onto a patio with a table and chairs. The garden is just a lawn. It's private.
There's a pub down the road you can walk to. Monks Cross shopping centre is very close if you need anything. Buses into York stop nearby, or you can drive to the park and ride in two minutes.
York city centre is about ten minutes by car. You've got the Minster, The Shambles, the Railway Museum. The River Ouse is there if you fancy a boat trip.
If you drive, the North York Moors are about 45 minutes away. Scarborough or Filey on the coast are under an hour.
In the bungalow you've got a washing machine, Wi-Fi, a TV. All bedding and towels are included. There's a spot to put bikes. No pets, I'm afraid.
