Owl Cottage is a barn conversion near York, about five miles from the centre. It's part of a group of five cottages around a courtyard.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's very well finished and comfortable. The living area is all open plan, with a wood burner. The kitchen is good if you like to cook. The bedroom has a kingsize bed. The wet room is big, with a shower seat and grab rails.
There's a shared enclosed garden with a summerhouse and paths. The owner lives on site. You can park two cars. There's bike storage.
The local pub is a mile away. The nearest shop is two miles. York is the main thing. You can drive in or get a bus from the village. It's got the Minster, the Railway Museum, the Jorvik Centre, and the shops and restaurants. If you want to go further, Harrogate is about half an hour's drive. The coast at Scarborough is around an hour.
Facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if needed. No pets.
