Biggan Mews is a small one-bedroom cottage in York. It's right in the centre, about a hundred yards from Monk Bar and the city walls. It's a mews cottage, so it's attached to others, but it's all yours.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and smart, but not luxury. Everything you need is there. It sleeps two people. One double bedroom and one bathroom with a shower. The living space is open plan.
The big thing is the location. You can walk out the door and be on the medieval walls in a minute. All the shops, cafes, and the Minster are a short walk. There's a pub just up the street and a restaurant even closer.
You get a designated parking space behind the cottage. In the middle of York, that's a real bonus.
The cottage has wifi, a dishwasher, and bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
If you want to see the sights, the National Railway Museum is free and about a 15 minute walk. The York Minster is obviously the main event. For a day out, you can drive to Castle Howard in about half an hour, or go to Pickering for the North York Moors Railway.
