County House Apartment is on the first floor of an old hospital building from the 1840s. It’s right in York. It’s a duplex, so the bedroom and bathroom are upstairs from the living area.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and clean. The ceilings are high and the main hallway is quite grand, so it feels a bit different. It’s not huge, but it works as a base.
You can walk into the city centre easily. The Shambles, the Minster, the city walls, they’re all minutes away. There’s a shop, a pub, and restaurants about fifty yards from the front door.
If you drive, you can get out to the countryside. The North York Moors, the coast, and the Yorkshire Dales are all within an hour or so. For racing, York racecourse is close, and Thirsk and Ripon aren’t far either.
It’s got a washing machine, a TV, WiFi, and parking on site. All the bedding and towels are included. No pets.
