It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s spacious and has big windows, so it’s light. One of the bedrooms is on a mezzanine level above the living area, with a balcony looking down. The other bedroom and a second living space are up another flight of stairs. The stairs inside are a fairly standard spiral type.
You get one private parking space with it, which is useful in that part of York.
Being where it is, you can walk to pretty much everything in the city centre. York Minster is about a five minute walk. The Shambles, Jorvik, the Railway Museum, all of that, is on your doorstep. There are plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants nearby.
If you want to drive out, the North York Moors are about half an hour away. North York Moors National Park has good information for walks. English Heritage and National Trust sites like Fountains Abbey or Castle Howard are also within a 30 minute drive.
Facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, towels and bedding are included. No pets.
