Baille Hill House
Baille Hill House is in York. It's a big place, sleeps ten, so it's good for a group or a family get together. It's right by the city walls, a few minutes' walk from the centre. You can see the walls from some of the windows.
The house is on three floors. It's been done up recently, so it's clean and in good order. On the ground floor there's a big kitchen and dining area with doors out to a little patio. There's also a bedroom and a shower room down there, which is useful.
The living room is on the first floor. It's got doors out to a balcony with a couple of chairs. There are two more bedrooms and another shower room on that floor as well.
Upstairs on the top floor, there are two more bedrooms, one twin and one with a double and a single bed. They're in the roof, so the ceilings slope. The main bathroom is up there too.
It's got private parking for two cars, which is a real help in York. There's a shop, a pub, and places to eat within a couple of minutes' walk. The pub is literally just round the corner.
You're very close to everything. York Minster, the Shambles, the Railway Museum, Clifford's Tower, it's all a short walk. You can step out the door and be on the city walls themselves. The area called Bishy Road is a minute away, it's got some nice independent shops and cafes.
For things a bit further out, the North York Moors are about a 40 minute drive. The coast at Scarborough is a similar distance.
The facilities are what you'd need: wifi, TVs, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot available. It's got a 4 Star rating. No pets, sorry.
