The Green is in Acomb, which is on the western edge of York. It's a detached stone cottage. You're about a mile and a half from the city centre.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of them is an en-suite. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's well done and comfortable. The renovation was recent, so everything works.
There's a bus stop nearby if you don't want to drive in. Parking is on the drive at the cottage.
The kitchen is open plan. There's a table there and another seating area in the living room, so people can spread out. Doors from the kitchen go out to a patio with a table and chairs. There's a BBQ too.
For the facilities: it's got Wi-Fi, a Smart TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
York has everything you'd need. The Minster, the Railway Museum, Clifford's Tower. The Shambles is good for a wander. For a day out, the National Trust has a few properties within half an hour, like Beningbrough Hall. The North York Moors are about a 40 minute drive if you want proper countryside.
