The Old Coach House

The Old Coach House is in York. It's on a side street about fifteen minutes walk from the city walls. It used to be a stable, so it's a single storey building, all on the ground floor. You get the little courtyard garden to yourselves.

It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and has everything you need. Because it was a stable, the doors into the bedrooms are quite low. You'll need to mind your head.

There's a shop a couple of minutes walk away. A few pubs and a restaurant are about the same distance. York centre is an easy walk. You've got the Minster, the Jorvik Centre, the walls you can walk along, and the National Railway Museum.

If you drive, you can be out in the countryside quickly. The North York Moors are about forty minutes drive. The coast, like Scarborough or Filey, is under an hour. The Yorkshire Dales are a bit further, maybe an hour and a quarter.

For facilities, it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them, and a stairgate. There's parking for one car on the drive. You can bring up to two dogs.
