Little Barn
Little Barn is near York. It's about two miles from the centre. The building is from the 1700s, it used to be part of a farm. It's detached, and you reach it by your own drive through a field.
It sleeps three, in two bedrooms. One bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been renovated, so it's comfortable and works well. The beams and stone are original.
The courtyard outside is shared with a few other properties. It's a big, quiet space. There's parking right there.
The pub is two hundred yards down the lane. It's a proper local. The closest shop is about a mile away in the village.
York is easy to get to. You can drive or get a bus. The Minster and the city walls are the main things. The National Railway Museum is good even if you're not that into trains. The Jorvik Centre is popular. The city's busy, but it's nice to come back to a quiet spot.
If you want to drive out, Castle Howard is about twenty minutes away. The North York Moors are about forty minutes. For the coast, Whitby or Scarborough are just over an hour.
Inside, there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. There's a BBQ outside. Sorry, no pets.
